Despite being on hiatus from WWE, Roman Reigns remains a highly talked-about figure among fans worldwide. Recently, conversations about The Tribal Chief resurfaced due to Nike announcing their new Bloodline Jordan sneakers. For those who might not know, the Jordan brand recently announced the revival of its Bloodline series.
With the inclusion of the term Bloodline, many fans associate this new release with Roman Reigns, believing that Reigns now has his own Nike Bloodline series. However, despite Reigns' mainstream popularity, this isn't the case.
In 2019, Jordan introduced the Air Jordan 1 Bloodline with its classic black and red design. Now, the company is reviving its Bloodline series with the Air Jordan 12 Bloodline, which will be released in 2025 and have an expected retail price of $200 USD.
Given that Roman Reigns' Bloodline storyline wasn't popular in 2019 when the first Bloodline Air Jordan was released, it's clear that there is no connection between Reigns and the upcoming Air Jordan 12 Bloodline.
Nevertheless, fans on the internet are still likely to draw comparisons between the new sneakers and The Tribal Chief due to the similar color scheme of upcoming Jordans and Roman attire.
Had Roman Reigns ever collaborated with Jordan?
Roman Reigns is a huge fan of sneakers. Before WrestleMania XL, The Head of the Table collaborated with Jordan on designs such as the Jordan Stadium 90 and Air Jordan 3 “Ivory,” both adorned with The Bloodline’s emblem and “Air Reigns” text.
Reigns even wore special red Jordans for his WrestleMania XL showdown against Cody Rhodes, adding a graceful touch to his overall look.
Besides Roman and Jordan's connection, fans are eagerly awaiting the return of the Bloodline leader to WWE.
The ongoing developments in the Bloodline saga add to the excitement, as fans are curious to see how things will unfold when Reigns returns. Although there is no fixed timeline for the former Undisputed Champion's return, many believe SummerSlam 2024 could be the probable occasion.
Upon his comeback, the Head of the Table is expected to initiate a feud against Solo Sikoa’s new Bloodline faction, potentially leading to another Bloodline civil war within the company.
Additionally, during the previous episode of SmackDown, The Enforcer mentioned Roman Reigns by revealing that he had a conversation with him. As a result, Solo is now in charge of the Samoan group until Reigns returns
