Roman Reigns' WWE return has been "made," says former WWE writer

  john

Following his loss in the main event of WWE WrestleMania XL Night 2, Roman Reigns went on a hiatus and has not been seen since. In his absence, Solo Sikoa has stepped up to take control of The Bloodline and has made some major changes. Former WWE writer Jim Cornette believes that the recent chain of events is leading to a well-planned Roman Reigns comeback.

After becoming the unsaid leader of The Bloodline, Sikoa has made changes to the faction, like bringing Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa into the mix and promptly sacking Jimmy Uso from the group. Paul Heyman has been forced to proclaim Sikoa as Head of the Table in Reigns' absence. However, it seems like The Special Counsel to Roman Reigns isn't exactly happy with how things are being run. Fans have already started chanting 'We want Roman,' awaiting the return of the true Tribal Chief.

On a recent edition of The Jim Cornette Experience, the wrestling veteran explained that with the fans now screaming for Roman, the former Undisputed WWE Champion's return angle is being well-planned and will lead to a potential feud with Solo:
"The story was that [Paul] was there at the behest of the new Tribal Chief Solo to make the statements - the double proclamation that he's setting the records straight, until Roman's return, Solo is The Head of the Table. And then the fans start chanting 'We want Roman'. They're calling for this already. This is a bird's nest on the ground. They've got it made. They don't even have to climb into it. When can we expect to see Roman Reigns back?
After dropping the Undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes earlier this year at WrestleMania, Roman took a break from WWE. Since then, there has been no official announcement as to when he'll be back, but with the increasing demand for his return, we may see The Head of the Table back in action around SummerSlam. He was previously advertised for the go-home edition of the blue brand before The Biggest Party of the Summer.

Following WrestleMania, Roman took to Instagram to post a video of him working out, with the caption:
"Yesterday WE mourned. Today is Day 1."

With the new Bloodline slowly developing and Solo becoming more and more assertive, Roman's first feud will likely be with Sikoa and the new Samoan additions to the group.
